World^s biggest pie feeds 50,000

Thousands of people have been tucking into the world's biggest meat and potato pie.

Up to 50,000 people were expected to have a piece of the 12-tonne Denby Dale Pie, named after the west Yorkshire village where it was being served. It is the 10th big pie made in Denby Dale since the event started in 1788 with the King George III Pie to celebrate the monarch's return to sanity.
