Default So sorry

hi Niko,

I'm sorry that your neuro didn't help you much today. My first reaction is - don't just settle for just waiting four more months - but I am pretty assertive, especially when it comes to my healthcare. There are things that can be done for the fatigue...and if you're concerned about things declining as the weather warms...well, if you can, I'd suggest "fighting" to have your needs met.

Also, provigil did not work for me.

My doc put me on Daytrana - it's a med for ADHD (i think it's same med at ritalin: METHYLPHENIDATE ) but it is a patch you wear - and so the release is consistent throughout the day. You wear it for 9 hrs and it continues to work for 3 more after you remove it.

I believe it is working very well for me. I dont have the ups-and-downs of fatigue throughout the day...

Good luck in however you choose to proceed.

~Keri
