Confused anyone familiar with long term nerve block side effects??

Hi everyone I am new, not sure how to really navigate around, so I thought I'd start here.

Just a little over two weeks ago I had a shoulder operation to repair two bone spurs and a torn rotator cuff. Surgery went great, although they didn't repair the tear because it's so small. Hopefully that will heal itself. They sent me home with a nerve block in my arm. Everything was numb for 24 hours and I took it out when I was told to. I was told I may have a bloodshot eye, which I never experienced. They didn't tell me that for those 24 hours I may have a droopy eyelid (Horners Syndrome) and a stuffy nose, all of which are side effects from the Interscalene block. Two weeks later I sill have a very stuffy nose (both sides) and a droopy eyelid (right eye same as the repaired shoulder). I have researched for 3 days and have found nothing specific. Yesterday, I finally decided to contact the surgeon and my PCP. They both have gotten in touch with the Anesthesiologist and none of the three can come up with anything. I did see the surgeon today, he said the nerve block would have had to have caused the problem. They don't know when or if it will get better. He told me exercise it and take B12. He doesn't want to send me to see a Neurologist or Ophthalmologist yet. He wants to see me again in three weeks to see if it has gotten any better.

If I place my hand over my right eye it is somewhat blurry or if I am looking at anything close up it is somewhat blurry, like the computer screen. Maybe where the eyelid is partially over my pupil. The movement is fine, but my pupil doesn't dilate well. There is no pain at all, it's just aggravating.

Sorry that I have made this such a long story. I am just hoping that someone knows or can relate to this with all the detail.

I hope everyone is doing well and can help me find some answers. Thank you!!
