I do not know going from Methadone to Morphine but my sister in law went from 125mg Fentayl patch changing every 2 days to 60mg Morphine 2x day and had no withdrawal. In fact, she is on 100mg Morphine 3x a day. And Oxycodone 30mg- 6x a day. She has Lupus. My hubby was in a horrific car accident in 99 and he takes 100mg Morphine 3x a day for a total all together of 700mg Morphine and 6-30mg Oxycodone. (he's been in Pain mgmt a long time) He changed from Oxycontin which he hated to the Morphine which he swears is the greatest pain relief he's had in almost 10 years!! He works a labor intense job 50-60 hrs a week. I hope this info helps you some. I am going to a pain mgment Dr on the 9th for Lyme, Fibro, Chronic UTI's, cysts on my ovary ( the 1 I have left), and adhesions. I'm hoping for the Morphine, Oxycodone combo. Let me know how it works out for you. Good Luck, and take care
