Thanks Leann,
someone on another board suggested keeping something cool to drink handy and this seems to be waning the symptoms of blurriness.

In our complex we do not have our own personal thermostats to set our heating temperature in our apartments. I think that they are pre-set at 72 degrees. The surprise is that I felt comfortable so I wasn't expecting symptoms to suddenly crop up and I am fairly sure that they were heat related.
