Yes. Two times I've been denied. I have hired a lawyer. It's important to appeal very rapidly, and get a lawyer. If the lawyer talks to her doctor, and he thinks that he has a case,he will probably represent you. They deny just about everyone at this time two times. I hear when two social security employees retire, only one person is hired to fill the gap. If she has paid into social security, and she has become disabled, she has the right to have assistance. The whole process may take two years,or more unfortunately. It's a national disgrace to need it,and be denied. I'm hanging on by the skin of my teeth. My heart goes out to you,for I know what it's like to have chronic anxiety, and the doctor's can't seem to help you very well. I've even emailed my representative, because for awhile I had a hard time contacting social security. Tell her to not give up. Tell her to keep getting therapy, and keep trying to get social security disability. She can also make a appointment with social services.
