My sister used to have a pair of those wooden Dr. Scholl's sandals. She plopped down on the couch one day and swung her leg up in the air to cross it over onto her other leg - her sandal flew off and hit my Dad in the shin.

It was too funny not to laugh but he had a knot the size of an orange on the front of his leg for weeks after that!!

Needless to say I never was allowed to purchase a pair of those while I lived at home!!
