Momz,
Was the MRI you had done for the cervical spine? Just curious. And pain in the thumbs is indicative for C5/C6 issues. Severe pain in my thumbs was the first sign of my own C5/C6 herniation. And it ALMOST sounds like RSD. I am no expert when it comes to RSD. But I have a friend who has it. I haven't met her in person yet; we just talk over the phone. But she says her RSD is in her arm, will turn red and then sweat will just pour off of both hands. Just a thought because when you said all of that it made me think of her. I hope you can get some help and find out what is causing this.
