Hi MV.... in all honesty it doesn't sound like ALS to me...but I'm not a doc..my best advice would be to try not to worrry about it until you see a neuro...I know easier said than done...as to what it could be other than ALS so many things from anxiety to other types of illness and injuries...many of which may be very treatable..Lisa
