You guessed it I am sure we were up on the Golden Road and crossed the Telose Bridge (where it was snowing so hard) We could see Katahdin in all her glory on the way in but when we came out she was totally gone (snowing again) It was funny cause if you didn't know there was a mountain there you certainly wouldn't of thought there was! We would go along and it was sunny and beautiful and then all of a sudden snowing so hard you couldn't see 20' in from of you.... Welcome to Maine!
Thought of you many many times! Hope all is well!

Wahhhhh!!

I wanna go tooo! Was the river open? Did you stop at the Cribworks? Is it melting at all up there?
I used to love being on the river in the morning with customers, and telling them that there was a huge mountain right in front of us. No one would believe me and then the clouds would clear after a bit of sun and VOILA!! There would be Katahdin looming up right there!!
Then I would have to tell them to stop looking at it and PADDLE!! LOL!
( for those of you who don't know what we are talking about the pic in my signature is the Cribworks, my favorite rapid of all time and the mountain is in the attached photo below this post, taken from the West Branch of the Penobscot River at Abol Bridge)
