Just take a deeeeep breathe and wait. It all takes time. I remember after my worst excacerbation that I thought I would never be the same. I sold all my counted cross stich things, down to the last needle. Well about a year later I started having the cross stitch itch again and bought a fairly easy pattern that had everything in it. After that I had to re-buy everything. I have now gone from cross stitching to quilting. You have to let your mind, body and emotions heal.
As far as the DMD go, I was diagnosed in 2/07 and started on Avonex shortly after. Yes, I had a doozy of an exacerbation in '99 that took me off work but my MRI last December looks the same as it did in '97. Is it because of my Avonex? I don't know, but I don't want to risk going off it.
