I don't know anything about the med you are talking about but I wanted to welcome you to the forum.

I would do a lot of reading on it and study the side effects. I am a big advocate of reading up on meds before a person takes them. They are a lot of the reason I am in the shape I am in today by not knowing enough about them. I also lost my husband 18 months ago and I believe it was brought on by the med Noravasc for high blood pressure.

Drs. get kickbacks and gifts for pushing these meds. Most don't care what they do otherwise to a person.

I know we have to take meds but we need to know what they can do to us before we take them so we can associate the side effect or problem to the med.
