I have heard you can pre-medicate as well (tylenol or advil and take the shot a few hours before bed so you get the symptoms while you are sleeping). As far as whether it is doing any good, with the unpredictability of this disease, I would say who knows? That is one reason I have not decided whether I want to go on DMD's especially right now (life is very busy and hectic)
I have also heard it can take 6 months to a year for your body to get used to the DMDs and for you to experience no s/s from them.

Now you say you aren't feeling the same. Is that as in depression or mood? Interferons can change moods because they lower you serotonin level. Some people have suicidal ideations and severe depression from this. If this is how you are feeling, you may want to look into an anti-depressant, or if you go the more natural route, look into adding some amino acids that increase serotonin.
