I'm not an expert on aneurysms by any stretch of the imagination, but I recall reading recently that there appears to be a hereditary component.
My father died of a ruptured AAA 20+ years ago, and I'm personally considering having an MRI done.
You might want to do a little research on the hereditary component. Maybe that would help you convince your brother to have the MRI.
