You should hire a lawyer of your own when you need one.

If you have not signed an agreement to turnover your back money do not.
Let's say your LTD company pays you $1300 dollars a month. Your SSDI amount is $1000 per month, You have them keep the $300 dollars a month. Let's say your back money is $10,000 you repay them in about three years.

If you have to pay the LTD company your back money the company will try to cancel your policy, and terminate your benefits.

I is not allows a great idea to go to the SSDI office for help when applying for benefits. The staff may have to write down how you looked when you came in for an interview.
Some of us look normal even through we are very sick and can not work.
