Default what if the doctor doesn't listen?

My neurologist has been out of town for days. She just got back. I've been having side effects from the copaxone that don't seem to go away--headache, nausea, anxiety, muscle aches, brain fog. In short, I feel pretty crappy on it even though it has been 3 weeks.

The doctor calls and leaves a message on my voice mail (missed the call). Her response "Well copaxone really shouldn't make you feel like that but if you want to talk about we could...."

I'm swear not making up how bad I feel!! I know my husband thinks I am exaggerating and he says it may be anxiety related. But I know my body -- I have never tolerated medications that well. I just don't think my body likes the C. very much.

So should I just basically be assertive with the doctor and say "hey I felt wonderful before the C. but then went on it and now I feel terrible. What can we do?

Have you ever felt like doctors didn't believe you re: symptoms or side effects from drugs? So frustrating.....
