There was a segment on GMA this morning about rationing food! It was on my local morning news, too. Seems that rice and other dry staples are being rationed in some areas. I believe Sams Club is limiting the amount of some items that one person can buy.

It's getting frightening - I've noticed higher prices at the grocery store. The price of fuel to transport produce and other items is getting out of control (it's $4.19 a gallon here in Georgia). The extra cost is certainly getting passed on to the consumer (as I expect it would).

What's everyone doing indivisually about this? Has this affected the way you shop and the amount of outings you take? It has for me...and I only expect it to get worse because I've taken a 40% cut in pay (with going on LTD).

It's sorta scary.....
