Peachy - I so agree.
I was raised like you and we were so frugal. I have always been much more frugal than many probably because we couldn't afford all those extra things (my husband and I).

But we NEED to get back to those values of our parents and our grandparents. I admire you for having a garden - I don't have room - I live in a condo but maybe I can find just a tiny space for a plant or two !
