Lightbulb the bags...

have been out for a long time. You need to wash them out as well.

What I discovered was that fruit will molder in them. The sugar you know.

The bags are to keep things from ripening. If you put ripe fruit in them I have found little benefit. A modern refrigerator keeps fruit and veggies pretty well IMO. Up north we have a propane frig which does not have a fan to circulate
air. The best success I had was with broccoli and some lettuce. Carrots too.
I did not have good results with strawberries. Bananas were pretty well kept too. At home I never buy more than 3 or 4 at a time.
I keep red peppers, and nectarines/peaches right on the counter in a shady cool place (we are pretty cool there indoors out of the sun).

The claims of up to a month, I didn't find true.

See what you get... however. They seem to have come down in price. I paid more than 9.95 for them about 6 yrs ago.
