Sounds a little like my reaction to morphine that I was given for a severe headache in ER once.
Mine was at the top of my ribs tho. They think it might have been the morphine messing with my pancreas (pancreitis,sp).
Awful pain, worse than labor and would just come in waves and go on and on! No more morphine for me.
