Lightbulb some ideas..

People who eat alot of foods rich in betacarotene may have orange tinted
skin.

But in my experience, this coloring signals hypothyroidism. When the thyroid is low, the body cannot convert betacarotene to Vit A properly in the liver.
so it builds up in the skin. Mine was mostly the soles of the feet and
palms of the hands.

Other types of liver problems may lend to this too.

The medical term for this is:
Carotenodermia.

It may also occur in diabetes. So a good check up is in order at the doctor's.
