I don't see how they can defitively say that ms and migraines are not related. They can really only say they don't currently know of any link. It makes sense to me that either an inflammatory response in the brain or misfiring nerve cells could cause headaches.
Do you take Topamax or another preventive rx? I'm still getting loaded on Topamax but it does seem to be helping.

I also was not prone to headaches before my dx. I would maybe get one a year, if that. Now whenever I have a flare I get some degree of a headache. Sometimes it is the "balloon-head" as I call it or it is a full blown migraine.
I hope you feel some relief today! I myself have been dealing with a headache for 4 days now. No relief yet. I am sending you some relief hugs
