Hi Jen. First I'd like to welcome you to NeuroTalk.

I'm sorry to hear what your fiance went through, and I know all too well how frustrating it can be when something like this happens, and all the tests come back negative.

Like Jo55 I'm wondering about other factors that you've not mentioned in your introduction, like :

How old is he?
Does he play any contact sports? (Thinking bump to the head here)
Has he recently started any new medications?
Is there a family history of strokes or epilepsy?
Was he seen by a neurologist at the ER?

My suggestion would be to see his local doctor soon, and get this incident fully documented. Maybe seeing a neurologist, even though the event has passed, may also be worth a thought.

They're just a couple of ideas from me. I'm sorry I couldn't be more help.
