Thank you for the responses. To answer your questions, he runs a business office, so not much exposure there other than to a computer! No chemicals, no sports, no other aches, pains, or anything, just the headaches. He's still having the facial numbness. He had, from what I can see from researching the symptoms, classic signs of a stroke. OUr neurologist is not at all helpful with where to go next if it's not within his area. He says it's an unexplained episode, period. I'm just not so comfortable with chalking it up to the unexplained and hoping it never happens again.
Are there any syndromes or diseases that might mimick these symptoms? Someone mentioned Bell's Palsy to me, but in reading about it I'm thinking no.
Any other suggestions or thoughts would be much appreciated.
