Mel, as i understand it they said their team were studying " genetically modified mice that lacked angiotensin-converting enzyme ", by accident they found the weight/fat loss in these genetically modified mice, science is another language to me but i am pretty sure they wouldn't be doing clinical human studies now, if there was no merit in their findings nor would they publish their findings in the National Academy of Science.

With the current epidemic of diabetes happening world wide now, the future complications like neuropathy and other associated diseases caused through obesity is scary to say the least, a little help from science may go a long way, i hope so, anyway.
