Hey, you might be right about this. I remember when I was pregnant my sense of smell actually increased. There were certain smells that really got to me (raw meat) and others that I used to love I hated.

Your idea makes sense to me. I have also heard from many friends that are peri-menopausal and menopausal about weird changes such as vision, memory, fatigue, etc. I am not there yet, but based on what I have heard losing your sense of smell due to hormones would not surprise me in the least.
