potent antihistamine. Actually the most potent there is.


Dolobid is an NSAID anti-inflammatory. Some of these are more lipophilic than others --Dolobid and Orudis, are examples of more lipophilic versions.
Ibuprofen and naproxen are less so.

Lipophilic ones enter the brain more than the others. This leads to sedation and sometimes blurred vision. Dolobid is hardly used in this country anymore. Perhaps this was given because of the blood patch in the spinal cord.

The hydroxyzine should be gone in 8 to 12 hrs. I don't understand why you were given this. Did you have an allergic reaction of some kind?
