Hi Clouds
we have a sticky thread here on possible treatments for OCD
http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/thread1395.html

My son's intense OCD has been really helped by supplements that boost serotonin and he also did a course of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy that gave him grounding in excellent coping skills for his OCD.
some people have found meds beneficial,(SSRI's are usually rx) but my son found their side effects not worth it.
He has also found that a lot of artificial foods trigger his OCD (likely related to the chemicals in them) and having a more natural diet has really helped him. He has OCD flareups if he has MSG or food dyes or aspartame/nutrasweet, sucralose/splenda etc.

if you take a look at the sticky thread you may find a lot of helpful info on OCD treatments.
