ARGHHHHHH! This is sick. I mean come on, we pay taxes for this type of situation. So what if he went out for fun, so frickin what? If he's lost and has yet to be found his family should not pick up the bill. For crying out loud, what is wrong with with this picture?

Many people voluntarily raise their hand to participate in dangerous activities. Think of soldiers, policemen, firemen, rescue crews, commercial pilots, private pilots, etc. Should we tax their families when they come up missing, even if it takes years to find them, or not? We can't have it both ways, really. This man was a pilot and a very good one. I am sure he didn't go out with the intention of being MIA or dead.
