Default itchy gums

Hi Dave,

Before you put anything on or near your new grafted tissue, call the dentist first to see what he says. If anything disturbs the healing process, the grafts will not take.

As for the itching........... hmmmmmm.... sometimes the accumulation of plaque can cause an intching sensation. Are you rinsing real well? Perhaps you have built up a sensitivity to the mouthrinse that was prescribed??

I would call the dentist and explain the situation before using any OTC stuff on the graft areas.

After the oral surgery my gums REALLY, REALLY itch. Shades of 1948-49. I can floss the top, but not the bottom.

Hmmmm, ok, so I don't rub the Lidocaine directly on the gums, what about outside the gum area?

Plan B is oxycodone. Tired of that.

Thanks........Dave
