Question a new mri leaves me puzzled... why can't we have a dummy's version of the report?

i just had my first back surgery on november 14th, 2007. six months to the day, i am having another one can someone please translate this and tell me what that means for me? the disc extrusion is being repaired on the 14th of may. ok, here goes the lingo i don't get...
partial lumbarization of the s-1 with a rudimentary intervertebral disc at the s1/s2 level. the left lateral recess disc extrusion is not significantly changed in appearance with the previous examination. there remains significant central canal stenosis asymmetric to the left, left lateral recess stenosis, and left l5/s1 neural foraminal narrowing. i am having surgery again... but what exactally should we be doing about everything else??? i'm so confused and i hate dealing with doc's sometimes because they blow off ligit questions. well, to me they are ligit cause i'm the one who didn't go to med school and i have no idea what all this means??? is the rest of this stuff going to bother me forever or will it go away???
thank you so much!!!
