Jan, thanks for the reply, I think a ESI for my Lumbar is next in line, I was surprised he didn't double dip this time and include it.

I think I need the relief more in my lumbar, IF that is causing my pelvic pains than I do for this rib/back pain, but I am hoping this is the cause of this pain in my ribs and will know for sure soon.

Good luck on your non-sedated ESI tomorrow. Oh, my lumbar injection will be sedated, how do I know? I was previously scheduled to get what he called a "selective nerve root injection into L4/5 area and I canceled it a week before and I was to fast for that and be under light sedation.......

Guess that is they way my PM Doctor works, always sedate I guess....
