Lightbulb congestion...

may give those symptoms.

1) make sure your upper teeth on that side are all good, and there is
no gum infections or other tooth problems (severe decay or dying tooth with a too deep filling).

2) you can buy over the counter Mucinex and when taken with extra water daily, it may help move the congestion out.
If you don't have high blood pressure or are taking other stimulant drugs,
you can try Sudafed PE.

If these measures fail, you need to see a doctor, to evaluate you for a sinus infection. Also some people have polyps up their nose which prevent normal drainage of fluids...in that case you may need them removed.
