Lightbulb This is what I got...

I think the ultrasound was the major healer tho.

The tendon that runs the adductors, is comprised of 3 parts that run
together and attach as one. The PT thought this is where the damage was.
I still cannot cross that leg...but I can do it lying down (which I couldn't before). But I cannot tie my shoe yet, but I can reach my toes now. So I hope maybe in another year?

And I have to do stretching which helps at times. I was told that there is a tendon capsule that wraps the hip joint and that a pull anywhere in there,
will also be tough to heal.

Getting into and out of the car was very hard for a while, or shifting in your seat...very painful...but those two things have healed up finally.

Any fall that shoves up the femur into the pelvis can do this type of tendon damage.

One term you may find is adductor avulsion syndrome. I know as each part of my injury healed, the pain from
that point reduced and I could feel OTHER pain. The last to go was the area of the thigh where the other end
of the adductors insert...near the knee. That was very sore and stiff for a long time too.
All of the ultrasound was done in the groin, and was very private... so I requested a female PT.
