Am not familiar with "forums" but find this one very interesting SO. . . . . . here goes!
Had a 2nd MRI and, along with arthritis in my back - am diagnosed with:
"bilateral neural foraminal stenosis".......AND herniated disk on L5 which showed up on MRI 3 years ago. BOTH times perineural cysts were sited and
and "are of NO consequence" according to the radiologist's report. It seems that the discomfort and pain has been getting worse and I am now getting very concerned that "no one" seems to think it's a serious thing?!?!!?!? I do NOT want surgery but I do fear that something will have to be done - other than
trying very hard not to take my vicodin - (I believe I have senior citizen guilt")
but I cannot live my life like I WANT to - no gardening, no lunches, etc., etc., and I MISS my life as it was before all this began. Next step will be the injections - am scared - am too YOUNG for this crap! Anyone had any similar problems? Would like to hear from you......thanks for listening!
