I got a new dog in my house oh dear,
I wonder what name she is waiting to hear,
When she stares out the window looking forlorn?
Or possibly in those eyes I see her feeling scorn.
The new dog in my house will learn not to jump
Up in my face hitting with a bump and thump.
Soon she will find this house is her home.
On a pillow to sleep, on the leash will she roam.
I got a new dog from inner state 95 at my house,
If you dump a pooch on the road your a real louse!
Her name isn’t Becky now its Gem-ni,
A gem of the Nile, love that you can’t buy.
When someone cares that comes for free,
That’s what I have in my house baby.
