For the past 5-1/2 years, I have been actively working at exposing Purdue Pharma for their criminally marketing OxyContin. In July 2007, Purdue Pharma, Michael Friedman, Howard Udell and Paul Goldenheim were criminally charged, pled guilty and were sentenced for marketing OxyContin as less likely to be addictive or abused. Their actions have resulted in an epidemic of death and addiction in every state in the country as well as Canada. This criminal activity was conducted under the watch of the FDA. My work now focuses on the FDA's involvement in this criminal behavior and J. David Haddox's part in it all. Marianne Skolek
