Hi.

I'm a Type 2 diabetic, and I also have Osteoarthritis. My doctor once told me 'you do know it's degenerative, and you DO know what this means right??"

He doesn't know me.

I used to be a 40 year old, 300 lb person with a sugar reading of 265.

I am now a 60 year old (don't ask what I weigh, but I wear a size 12 and am no longer obese). And I am in the Cornell Heart and Diabetic study. I take Lantus, and I make sure of what goes into my body.

Should have done this at 40. I was stupid, and now I know better.

I eat correctly, and I exercise. Sure, I have days when I can't move. But on the days I can move, WELL I MOVE!!!

I also take Methyl B-12 sublingual every morning for the diabetic neuropathy. Stopped the burning in it's tracks. I take 5000.

I take multi vitamins, my magnesium, my calcium, (Whatever Mrs. Doubtfire says to take, I take).

But the important thing is to move. Got to keep the blood flowing to all the organs and all the extremities.

I just do the best I can do.

I didn't pay attention when I was younger.

I'm paying attention now.

Just wanted to share.
