One of the issues that many of the disability organizations are working on collectively is this very problem....why is it so difficult for those of us who are disabled to get thru the maze and minutiae of paperwork to get SSD and SSDI?

Hopefully something will be done soon to reconcile this sad state of affairs. Maybe with the push to get the 24-month waiting period for Medicare eliminated, that will be the first step!
