I need some advice how to get a possum out of my garage. I've tried leaving the door open at night and leaving food outside but he/she's still in there. But the food was gone this morning. So he/she ate it and went back in. I'm wondering if it's a female and she had babies?

I feed feral cats and I'm so afraid for them. I haven't seen them for 2 days and I'm getting worried something happened to them.

I've called animal control and they keep connecting me to a wildlife sanctuary and they don't even return my calls. I can't even go in my garage because I'm terrified.
