I have always had sensory overload issues... especially auditory. My hearing checks out perfect, it's just the processing in the brain that has gone haywire. I tend not to get into conversations if a group is involved because I just become the "wallflower" because I can't handle the many voices at once.
Until I was diagnosed with MS and learned all the possible things that it could affect, I just thought I was an odd ball.

This describes me to a "T". I think the only situation I'd be comfortable in with a group of people that's more than four is a GTG with board buddies from NeuroTalk!! At least they would understand why I can't keep up with multiple conversations!!

Sensory overload is so hard to try and explain to others.
