No. Everyone works it seems. I was the only one in 4th or 5th grade Girl Scouts to do an activity (twice!!) to get badges. I was also the only parent who had MS and so ran activities sitting down.
In Kindergarten kids said who they wanted to see, I arranged and was always there. Now at 16, they remember who "
MOM made me play with". I have boy/girl twins. After awhile had to throw separate parties for them. Referred to Bithday time as **LL week". Last combined Birthday (age 4??) had dinosaur (DS's choice) with Sailor Moon (DD's choice) in his jaws on cake.
