the rolling blackouts, brownouts, and massive increases in our electric bills was part of what convinced me to move abroad, to a place where the utilities were still run in the PUBLIC's interest, rather than for greedy profits by thugs like ENRON and Dynergy... that was a real cluster-mess...

the power here has been on and off and on and off and on and off for the last two days (which is why ya haven't seen much of me!)
