Trazodone is an antidepressant used for a sleep aid. It's an old drug - been around forever - and my Neuro said that it was safe to take. It makes me very sleepy soon after I take it but it doesn't seem to make me groggy the next day. I take a 50 mg dose at bedtime but I'm wondering if I can take more since I seem to wake up a lot during the night.
