So today I went to the eye doc to discuss havign Lasik for my nearsightedness. Apparently I am a candidate.

One of the outcomes in most people is Dry eyes. So this doc (who was the director of the center at one of the top 5 eye centers in the country) said to avoid that we start people on a supplement for dry eyes...you can help it by swallowing this pill as opposed to eye drops or in addition to them.

It was called BioTears by Biosyntrx. I looked at it further and it uses Omega 6 essential Fatty Acids and GLA.

Interesting that they are promoting it as a nutraceutical for dry eyes.
