Lightbulb We have

a plain old SEARS canister vacuum. It is powerful (new) and very flexible.
I like it and it didn't cost nearly what a Dyson does.

My husband chose it from a rating in Consumer Reports.
It is called the Kenmore Progressive. I find uprights less useful for us, since we have many corners and small spots-- I use the hose always.
(SEARS got the high rating for pet hair, which we have plenty of).

We always check out Consumer Reports...they have never failed us yet.

My husband helps me with vacuuming now, so he gets to pick, as far as I am concerned! LOL
He says ours was about $250...he had to rush out and get it because our old Eureka died while I was
up North last summer. I think he did a great job! I am pleased, with it. (it is also much quieter too).
