I am wondering if anyone has any idea where i can find stats on the average costs of Phase I-IV clinical trials- could be per patient or overall.

need current stats as well as historical (need to be able to at least try to come up with a ballpark estimate for, say, a phase II trial that lasted from 1993 to 2001.

if anyone has any suggestions, i am all ears.
