I thought I would share the results of my latest MRI since many of you have been so supportive of me during my tysabri "adventrue."
My neuro called me last night at 6:00 in the evening to tell me that there was no sign of any active inflamation.

He did say that the radiologist thought that I perhaps had one more lesion than I did a year ago, but was not definite. He also seemed unsure, and was going to have the radiologists take another look at the images.
So at this point, he said he would give me a week or so to consider whether or not I wanted to go on imuran. If I decide against it, he wants to cancel my appointment in June and said I could see him in 6months and have another MRI at that time. I have already decided that I am going to pass on imuran at this point. I am also trying to decide whether or not to transfer all of my medical records to the MS center I went to in St. Louis. It is 150 miles from here and in a different state. For those of you who go to a neuro that is some distance away, how do you handle it if you are in a flare and cannot get to your doctors? The closest MS specialists are in St. Louis and Indianapolis.
