Trigger points are usually fairly small knots - I think generally about the size of a pea or pencil eraser or even smaller - unless you have major problems and knots on top of knots  . This is just my observance from mine though.
Under the armpit could be swollen lymph nodes also.
Therapist would do lymph drainage technique then , you can do some of it your self.
It's just basically a light stroke of the skin towards the heart. |
The knot was rather large maybe about the size of a silver dollar. I think she got it down to about the size of a quarter. I am only going once a week since I have to leave work two hours early to get there.
