Flying doesn't bother me as much as driving, where there is so much visual information. Hope your flight goes well and don't look out the window.

My vestibular physiotherapist is really thinking a lot of this is about my neck. She explained that even compared to nerves in your finger (about 40), there are 200 in the neck. And when she starts working around my neck, I actually feel more anxious. That whole area is oversensitized, and by the end of the day, even normal noises and movement are annoying. She gave me more exercises, including "Otolith Stimulation", which desensitizes or retrains the brain how to deal with motion. I will try it for sure because I need to travel a lot in vehicles this summer with my family.

I really feel for the folks that have the depersonalization symptoms still.

When out walking, I felt like I had to slow down and wait for my brain to catch up - that lasted well into last fall. I guess it wasn't really until I took Elavil that I started to feel more normal and it helped control my headaches a lot. I have been going to the chiropractor for about six weeks now and it has helped my head. I get electro-stimmulation and ultrasound treatments of my upper back, neck and shoulders to loosen up tight muscles. Had a lot of stress this week and I can feel the muscles around my head tighten up. I have to fly to Germany tomorrow and hope the long trip will be okay. I will let you all know how it went when I get back in three weeks.
